Your skin and eyebrows will be assessed, shape and colour discussed and the best technique for you will be selected.
Cosmetic tattooing is a popular well tolerated cosmetic treatment involving controlled insertion of safe colour pigments into the dermis layer of the skin, instantly improving appearance, facial definition and provides in most instances, a long lasting effect.
The range of colours available is almost endless and can be custom tailored to suit every individual’s needs. We use the highest quality colour pigment reducing the chance of colour change in the skin.

Micro-blading has the ability to look completely natural when blended amongst existing hair or none at all. The feathering motion mimics real brow hair and can be individually customised to suit your preferences. Depending on your requirements, the brows can be subtly coloured or completely remodelled as each new strand is intricately etched and coloured into the skin. This procedure is fantastic for clients suffering from alopecia.
Feathering technique is where fine, hair-like strokes are delicately implanted into the skin to mimic the natural appearance of eyebrows. This method is commonly called micro-blading, where a specialised blade or needle is used to create realistic, individual hair strands. Feathering helps achieve a more natural and defined eyebrow look by seamlessly blending with existing hair and providing a softer, textured finish.
Ombré or Mist technique uses a small tattoo pen to create natural looking brows. The technique is used when the client would prefer a powder filled brow look, similar to applying brow powder makeup. The ombré effect is lighter pigment at the start of the brow, and gradually gets darker on the tail.

This is a semi permanent procedure and colour can be modified and changed. It has been known to last for many years but generally does fade and metabolise over time. Touch up or refresh treatments may be required in a couple of years.
Every inital procedure cost will include a follow up visit after 6-8 weeks. An additional cost will be incurred after that time to the discretion of the cosmetic tattooist.

How is cosmetic tattooing done?
With a small purpose made cosmetic tattoo hand-held implanted, or a sterile curved blade.
Our advanced practitioner will utilise more than one implanting device and variable needles appropriate to the clients individual needs.
Will cosmetic tattooing be right for me?
Anyone who desires a soft, natural or prominent enhancement to their appearance can benefit from skilfully applied cosmetic tattooing. We can discuss in depth your concerns and requirements in our initial consultation.
How painful is cosmetic tattooing?
Discomfort varies from person to person. Compounded topical numbing cream and local anaesthetic is used to numb the treated areas. Ensuring your comfort is a high priority.
Is there any downtime?
Swelling can occur and may last from 2 to 72 hours.
There may be some tenderness for a few days. The colour implanted will be darker than you expected for the next 5-10 days. We recommend taking the day of work with lip tattooing due to swelling.
Post care instructions will be thoroughly explained before and after your procedure.

ARRIVAL Kindly arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled treatment to complete your pre-treatment consultation form and relax in our guest lounge with a refreshment. To ensure a fulfilling experience, late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time, though we’ll make every effort to minimise disruptions.
HEALTH & WELLBEING Inform us during booking if you’re pregnant or have health conditions, allergies, or injuries that may impact your treatment.
VALUABLES Leave jewellery and valuables at home, as we can’t be responsible for their loss or damage.
CLINIC ETIQUETTE Maintain a tranquil environment by turning off mobile phones and keeping voices low.
CONFIDENTIALITY Your privacy is paramount; all personal information remains strictly confidential.
MINIMUM AGE We cater to young adults and adults. Guests aged 15-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please refrain from bringing children to ensure a relaxing atmosphere for all guests.
CHILDREN POLICY It is our clinic policy that children are unable to attend appointments with you. This is not only for their own safety but for the comfort of all our clients attending the clinic.
PARKING Enjoy 2-hour free parking behind the Merimbula RSL, a short walk from our entrance on Alice Street. Plan ahead to ensure ample time for parking and arrival.
PREGNANCY Notify us during booking if you are pregnant, as some treatments may not be suitable. We’ll assist you in choosing the most appropriate treatment for your stage of pregnancy.
PAYMENT OPTIONS We accept EFTPOS and cash. Gift certificates are not available to be used on Cosmetic Tattooing.

We understand life happens and you may need to change or reschedule your appointment.
At In2skin we require a minimum of 24 hours notice for any appointment cancellation to allow time to reallocate your appointment to another client. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, or fail to attend a booked appointment, we reserve the right to not refund your deposit.
