- Avoid sun exposure and tanning products for at least 2 weeks prior.
- Refrain from using active skincare ingredients (e.g., retinol, AHAs, BHAs) on the treatment area for 3 to 5 days before your session.
- Ensure the treatment area is clean and free of lotions or makeup on the day of your appointment.
- Not suitable whilst breastfeeding or pregnant
- You may experience redness, swelling, or blistering in the treated area; this is normal and typically subsides within a week.
- Keep the area clean and dry; avoid picking at scabs or blisters to prevent scarring
- Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturiser as recommended by your practitioner.
- Protect the area from sun exposure by using a high-SPF sunscreen daily.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, hot tubs, and saunas for 48 hours post-treatment.
How does laser tattoo removal work?
The Cutera Enlighten™ laser emits specific wavelengths of light that are absorbed by tattoo ink particles, breaking them down into smaller fragments. These fragments are then naturally eliminated by the body’s immune system over time.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on factors such as tattoo size, ink color, depth, and individual skin type. On average, 5 to 10 sessions spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart are recommended for optimal results.
Is the treatment painful?
Clients often describe the sensation as similar to a rubber band snapping against the skin. Discomfort is generally minimal, and topical numbing agents can be applied to enhance comfort during the procedure.
Are there any side effects?
Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling, blistering, or scabbing. Rarely, changes in skin pigmentation or scarring may occur. Following aftercare instructions minimises these risks.

ARRIVAL Kindly arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled treatment to complete your pre-treatment consultation form and relax in our guest lounge with a refreshment. To ensure a fulfilling experience, late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time, though we’ll make every effort to minimise disruptions.
HEALTH & WELLBEING Inform us during booking if you’re pregnant or have health conditions, allergies, or injuries that may impact your treatment.
VALUABLES Leave jewellery and valuables at home, as we can’t be responsible for their loss or damage.

MINIMUM AGE We cater to young adults and adults. Guests aged 15-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please refrain from bringing children to ensure a relaxing atmosphere for all guests.
CHILDREN POLICY It is our clinic policy that children are unable to attend appointments with you. This is not only for their own safety but for the comfort of all our clients attending the clinic.
PARKING Enjoy 2-hour free parking behind the Merimbula RSL, a short walk from our entrance on Alice Street. Plan ahead to ensure ample time for parking and arrival.
PREGNANCY Notify us during booking if you are pregnant, as some treatments may not be suitable. We’ll assist you in choosing the most appropriate treatment for your stage of pregnancy.
PAYMENT OPTIONS We accept EFTPOS and cash. Gift certificates are not available to be used on Cosmetic Tattooing.

We understand life happens and you may need to change or reschedule your appointment.
At In2skin we require a minimum of 24 hours notice for any appointment cancellation to allow time to reallocate your appointment to another client. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, or fail to attend a booked appointment, we reserve the right to not refund your deposit.
